{"id":11891,"date":"2023-04-19T14:56:26","date_gmt":"2023-04-19T12:56:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nebest-cot.nl\/?page_id=11891"},"modified":"2026-04-16T16:48:59","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T14:48:59","slug":"cyclic-aging-tests","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/nebest-cot.nl\/en\/cyclic-aging-tests\/","title":{"rendered":"Aging tests"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The laboratory can perform the following cyclic aging tests in climate chambers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The aging test according to ISO 20340 (or NORSOK), the artificial aging test for pipelines according to ISO 15741, ISO 11997-2, and various ASTM standards.<\/li>\n<li>The ISO 20340 aging test lasts 25 weeks and consists of a cycle of 3 days QUV (alternating 4 h exposure (with UVA) at 60 \u00b0C and 4 h condensation at 50 \u00b0C), 3 days neutral salt spray (ISO 9227), and 1 day exposure at -20 \u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>ISO 11997-2 is a test method for determining the resistance of coatings in a defined cycle of wet (salt spray) \/ dry \/ condensation \/ UV light.<\/li>\n<li>ASTM G85 describes 5 variants, including cyclic corrosion tests; we perform all of them.<\/li>\n<li>Cyclic tests with temperature variations from -40 \u00b0C to +180 \u00b0C and RH in a range of 0 to 100% can also be performed by Nebest-COT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If other standards or specifications are required, please contact Nebest-COT to discuss the possibilities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The laboratory can perform the following cyclic aging tests in climate chambers: The aging test according to ISO 20340 (or NORSOK), the artificial aging test for pipelines according to ISO 15741, ISO 11997-2, and various ASTM standards.
